Dedicated to raising awareness and changing the lives of children with sarcoma cancer.
Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis is a feminist community-based organization providing services to women and their children on domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking. We believe our services must be inclusive and equitable for all individuals accessing our programs while being responsive to issues of race, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic status and/or abilities.
This event serves as a unifying force, rallying an incredibly dedicated collective of Canadians who show that each of us has a role to play when it comes to taking on cancer. It is an inspirational day that raises important funds for CCS, the largest charitable funder of breast cancer research in Canada. CCS invests these dollars into groundbreaking breast cancer research, compassionate support services, trusted cancer information and advocacy on behalf of all Canadians. Thanks to the generosity of CIBC Run for the Cure supporters, we know more than ever before about how to prevent, diagnose, treat and live with and beyond breast cancer.
In 1974, a group of parents determined to find a cure for their children living with T1D came together and began JDRF Canada, launching the largest funder and advocate for T1D research in Canada.
